Absolutely Amazing Experience! We visited Tibetan Kitchen in New Haven with a group of eight colleagues, and every single one of us loved the food! The flavors, portion sizes, and pricing were all spot on, making it an incredible dining experience. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled with the options. We ordered: • Thukpa Dhrangmo – Spicy cold noodles with sesame oil dressing. This was refreshing, packed with bold flavors, and had the perfect balance of spice and tang. • Tsel Momos – Pan-fried vegetable and cheese dumplings. These were absolutely delicious, crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful mix of veggies and cheese. • Chili Tofu – Stir-fried tofu with green and red bell peppers in sweet chili oil, served with white rice. The tofu was perfectly cooked, with a great balance of spice and sweetness. A couple of my friends ordered Chili Chicken and Chili Shrimp, and they couldn’t stop raving about how good it was! They said the meat was tender, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the sauce. Service was friendly and efficient, and even though we were a large group, everything came out fresh and hot. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received. Whether you’re a fan of Tibetan cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

My wife and I went to Tibetan Kitchen for dinner. Although the place was full, the staff was very kind and accommodate us in two chairs in their hallway. Since the place is very small, the tables are very close to each other. But the overall atmosphere is very cool. The food was awesome. It reminds me a little bit of Indian and Chinese food, but it unique in a hard to describe way. It is definitely worth trying.

Very welcoming cozy environment with women who know what you need before you do (whoop). The food was wholesome and there was agave for my chai tea. Definitely put my heart at ease. Will return.

Updating now that I have eaten inside. It is great! Homely, we were able to get a table of 7 and have an amazing time. The staff are great and attentive. Some of the best food I have had in New Haven! Amazing food options, glad there is a vegetarian option and hearty soups served with rice. I have only ordered take out so I have not had a sit down experience but when I pass it usually looks packed with people which is good!

Cute restaurant; small inside with just 7 tables. Service was quick and attentive. Almost everything is available as vegetarian or vegan. Everything we ate was so delicious. We requested everything with a spice level of 2, but one dish was significantly spicier than the other. I will definitely come back.
